Stretch Marks on Breast
Stretch marks are actually small tears that form in the tissue that supports the skin and helps it stretch. Stretch marks represent the tearing or separation of collagen from the skin when tearing occurs. Stretch marks are not harmful or painful and usually fade over time.
Stretch marks starts as red lines on the skin that are slightly lifted. The color of the stretch marks depend on the color of the skin of the person has it. They may sometimes look pink, reddish brown or dark brown.
It makes sense consulting your health care specialist before applying any lotions for pregnancy stretch marks, as it may be possible that some medications such as steroids or hormones may be causing the stretch marks.
Pregnant women usually become so obsess in finding ways to prevent stretch marks from occurring. It is actually natural to appear as their bellies and breast expands and widen. But it doesn’t mean that they won’t find ways to prevent and treat stretch marks. Yes, the skin of pregnant women stretched to the maximum level but of course, they can figure out some way or ways to do to prevent stretch marks before it appears.
Beside these herbal stretch marks treatments, there are many lotions for pregnancy stretch marks removal. These creams contain vitamin C and vitamin E, which moisturizes your skin. However, it is not evident whether these creams completely remove stretch marks, though for sure they can be used to fade the appearance of lines. Although, these home remedies are not harmful, you should consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding or are pregnant.
You can always prevent stretch marks with exercise and water; make sure you are maintaining healthy skin! Mama always told you to drink plenty of water. Maybe she knew this: it helps prevent stretch marks, too! Proper water intake keeps your skin soft and less likely to develop stretch marks. Caffeine can increase your risk of stretch marks. If you’re stuck on your caffeinated coffee or tea, make sure you balance the fluids. Drink just as much – or more – water as you drink coffee, tea or soda.
Stretch marks seem impossible to deal with. You can’t just throw them away. Just listen to my own story. Now that I have had a child, I inescapably have to deal with stretch marks around my breast area. But, this is completely normal if you breast feed your child.
Various stretch mark treatments are available for stretch marks removal like ointments, the most popular of which is cocoa butter. You may also use Vitamin E oil or other ointments. If the stretch marks are really severe and these treatments do not help, consult your health care specialist, as there are laser treatments, dermabrasion, tretenoin, isotretenoin, adepalin and many such methods are being discovered.
Cocoa butter has been used over the years and proved to be quite successful. You may also apply Vitamin E, lavender oil, olive oil or any other moisturizer. Creams containing alpha hydroxyl acid may help reduce stretch marks.
Laser treatment is an expensive but most effective method of stretch mark removal. It can remove the spots below the belly button. Massage with creams containing AHAs (alpha hydrox acids) helps in making skin soft and supple.
